Jeff Hoffman Does Entertainment?
– Students of the Entertainment Industry finally catch a break. –
ORLANDO, Fla. (February 28, 2010) Jeff Hoffman, founder of Priceline.com and current CEO of Enable Holdings, has volunteered to host the first ever Music Media Money Gabfest (MMMG) at the Marriott in downtown Orlando. “Jeff has blessed us by volunteering his time. Without volunteers, this special educational event would not be affordable for students.” Said Willie “Bum Bum” Baker, record producer and heart behind the gabfest.
MMMG 2010 was born to fill the the lack of industry events that really catered to students and entertainment entrepreneurs. “It hurt to watch students spend their rent money in the hopes of landing a record deal,” said Willie in reference to how the event has come about. “This event is about education and giving back. We are aiming to arm students and entrepreneurs with the latest tools needed to succeed in this economy.”
MMMG is working towards its non-profit status and is aiming to provide free student tickets to this event in the future.
